Music Theory/History
Need help with theory classes? Want to get an edge in your music studies at school? In this course we will target core areas of music elements based on a prescribed approach. If you struggle with harmony, we will review and practice harmony, struggle with rhythm and we will focus on that. Looking to move into more advanced concepts? If you’re ready we can jump into that as well!

All experience levels are welcome! This course will explore and reinforce all of the fundementals.
clef/note/rhythm identification
construction of all major/minor keys
understanding form
triadic development (major, minor, dominant, diminished, augmented, etc.)
historic aesthetic periods from a world perspective
use of dominant chords and understand diatonic harmony

Scores may be needed to be purchased or checked out for various reasons depending on the area of focus. If possible I will shoot to source all information before going this route.
