Big Blue Sky explores the emotional landscape of leaving home and stepping into a wider, unknown world. Structured in three episodes, the piece traces a gradual inner journey—beginning with departure, moving through the fierce momentum and endurance required in new places, and finally arriving at a sense of clarity, openness, and love for life.
Composed between 2022–2024, the work grew out of a period of reflection as I prepared to begin my professional path as a guitarist. I often found myself questioning what kind of artist I hoped to become and how early choices shape the long arc of a career. Writing this music became a meditation on release and commitment—on facing the world directly and allowing consistent effort to evolve into something meaningful over time.
